When Delia Yebarra's fairy-tale romance with Adan Bovio, the son of a wealthy politician, was cut short by a tragic accident, nothing could have prepared her for the heartache that followed. But when she discovers she is carrying Adan's child, Delia has no choice but to live under the watchful eye of Adan's powerful father. At first, it seems as though Mr Bovio has Delia's best interests at heart and he goes out of his way to provide the very best for his unborn grandchild. But as her freedom is increasingly restricted, it doesn't take Delia long to realise that Adan's father still blames her for the accident that killed his son, and he intends to use his connections to make her life hell. But when Delia's baby arrives, will she be able to protect her newborn son and make a future for her family?
How To Babysit A Grandad
Illustrated by the winner of the Red House Children's Book Award 2013.
When your grandad rings the doorbell, it's babysitting time! This is a hilarious and accessible picture book about a child spending time with his grandad.
Written in a how-to style, the narrator gives important tips for 'babysitting' a grandad, including what to eat for snack (anything dipped in ketchup, ice cream topped with cookies, cookies topped with ice cream), what to do on a walk (find lizards and dandelion puffs, be on the lookout for puddles and sprinklers), and how to play with a grandad (build a pirate cave, put on a scary play).

The First Gift
The First Gift tells the story of six-year-old Griffin, who attends Bahai childrens class, where he learns that he has a soul that was given to him by God. However, the teaching leaves him confused. Where is his soul? Intrigued, he asks his brother Paul for more detail, but Paul is in a hurry and can only tell him briefly that Griffins soul is Gods first gift to him. But where is his soul? Griffin wonders. He checks everywhere he can think ofhis pockets, the car he rides home in, his bedroom. When he doesnt find it, he worries that he doesnt have a soul after all. His mother, sensing something is wrong, begins to talk to him, learns of his fears, and comforts him with an explanation of his soul that is based on the Bahai teachings. After talking to his mother, Griffin feels better and understands more clearly how he received his soul, as well as Gods love for him.
